Can I study in English at Universität Hamburg?

Bachelor

Universität Hamburg does not offer any English-language Bachelor’s degree programs, with one exception: Earth System Physics. You may do some research on the following websites to find out where in Germany you can study the subject of your choice in English:

Master

Universität Hamburg does offer a small selection of English-taught and bilingual Master's degree programs.

How do I apply to Universität Hamburg?

Does Universität Hamburg offer scholarships?

Universität Hamburg does not offer any full scholarships to cover a program from start to finish. It does, however, offer merit scholarships and exam completion grants. If you meet certain conditions, you can apply for one of these during your studies.

You can find out about other scholarships and grants by consulting the grant data bank of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) or the grant data bank of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
